Hi @StGenies
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
No, the HP 26X CF226X toner cartridge does not come with the imaging drum like the HP 26A CF226A toner cartridge does.
Here's the difference between the two:
HP 26A CF226A: This is the standard toner cartridge and comes with the imaging drum built into the cartridge. It's typically a lower-cost option for users who don't print as frequently and want to replace both the toner and drum in one go.
HP 26X CF226X: This is the high-yield version of the toner cartridge. It does not include the imaging drum, and it's designed to print more pages than the standard 26A (CF226A) cartridge. If you're using the 26X CF226X, you'll need to replace the imaging drum separately, as it is sold as a separate component (HP 26X drum, CF226A).
So, when you replace the toner with the HP 26X CF226X, make sure you already have the imaging drum installed or have a replacement drum on hand if needed. The drum typically lasts longer than the toner cartridge, so you may only need to replace it once for every few toner changes.
I hope this helps.
