HP 2742e Printing blank pages. I ran a clean print head, align print head, manual cleaning. It's correct paper size. I reset the printer/router/computer (phone as app is on it). Plenty of ink. I'm very frustrated what else can I do to get this printer to print?

Hi @CrystalMac,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When an HP DeskJet 2742e prints blank pages despite troubleshooting, there are still a few additional steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Check Ink Cartridges:
- Remove and Reinsert Cartridges: Open the printer, remove the cartridges, and reinsert them securely to ensure proper connection.
- Cartridge Contacts: Check the cartridge contacts for any dust or debris and clean them gently with a lint-free cloth.
- Test with Different Cartridges: If available, try using another set of cartridges to determine if the current cartridges are faulty.
Run Another Print Head Cleaning:
- Deep Clean Printhead: You may have already done a cleaning, but try running a deeper printhead cleaning if available from the HP Smart app or printer settings.
Printer Firmware Update:
- Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure your printer has the latest firmware by updating it through the HP Smart app or printer settings.
Reset to Factory Settings:
- Factory Reset: Perform a factory reset on the printer to restore it to default settings. You can usually find this option in the settings menu of the printer or via the HP Smart app.
Check Printer Queue:
- Clear Print Queue: Ensure that there are no stuck print jobs in the print queue. Cancel all jobs and try printing again.
Run Diagnostic Tests:
- Print Diagnostic Reports: From the printer control panel or HP Smart app, run a diagnostic report or test page to identify any internal issues.
Check Printer Connections:
- USB/Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure that your printer is properly connected, whether via USB or Wi-Fi. A weak Wi-Fi connection could disrupt communication.
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and Run HP Print and Scan Doctor: This tool can automatically diagnose and fix printing issues. You can download it from HP's website.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
