Can anyone help please?  I have an HP2910 printer which is just a few weeks old,  it was printing perfectly until I changed the ink cartridges today.  Now I get a flashing light with error code E3 which shows that the printer is out of ink,  I have tried another set of new ink cartridges but get the same problem.  I have tried switching it off and on, made sure there are no paper jams etc. but cannot solve the problem.  I also thought I’d do a factory reset but can’t see how to do this on the HP app.  Any ideas please?

Hello @Bailey177, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please try a few troubleshooting steps provided below so that I can assist you further?

Error E3

The print carriage inside the printer has jammed or stalled.
1. Open the front door and the cartridge access door.
2. Make sure the print carriage is not obstructed.
3. Remove any jammed paper or other objects blocking the carriage. See Cartridge access area in the Jams and paper-feed issues section.
4. Close the cartridge access door and the front door.
5. Press the Resume button to continue printing or press the Cancel button.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
