CARTRIDGES WERE STILL FILLED, BUT AFTER A RESTART, I RECEIVED THE EO ERROR.

After a factory reset, this error is still showing.  Any recommendations?

@Lmoure, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding E0 Error on HP DeskJet Plus 4100!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The E0 error on the HP DeskJet Plus 4100 All-in-One series typically indicates a paper jam or a related issue. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the E0 error:

Clear Paper Jams:

Check All Possible Jam Locations:

  • Input Tray
  • Output Tray
  • Cartridge Access Area
  • Bottom of the Printer
  • Document Feeder (if applicable)

Clearing Jammed Paper:

From Input Tray:

  • Remove any loose paper.
  • Gently pull out any jammed paper using both hands.

From Output Tray:

  • Check for and remove any jammed paper or debris.

From Cartridge Access Area:

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Wait for the carriage to move to the center.
  • Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
  • Remove any jammed paper.
  • Use a flashlight to ensure all pieces of paper are removed.

From the Underside of the Printer:

  • Pull the tabs on either side of the cleanout door.
  • Remove the jammed paper.
  • Close the cleanout door.

Reset the Printer:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the power source.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer and plug it into a wall outlet.
  • Turn on the printer.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
