HP 5230 Officejet printer. Received ink for HP black instant ink from HP. The cartridge no is 302, but my normal cartridge was 304. Now getting messages that cartridges are not connecting to printer. I taken ink out and refitted a number of times but still do not work. Ideas please

I see that the replacement Instant Ink cartridge is not working. Did you insert the old Instant Ink cartridge and check for the error?
Make sure the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges
Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Ink cartridge error
