I replaced my hp 564 black cartridge on 10/24/2023 with a genuine HP cartridge. Printed about 50 pages and am already getting message that printer is low on ink. These cartridges are too expensive to replace every time I need to print. What is going on? Printer is HP Photosmart 7520. I thought that the cartridges had a longer lifespan.

I printed about 45 pages in black & white of a cross stitch pattern that I purchased. Do not believe that it is appropriate to share the images as it is copyright protected. Each page is about a 45x45 square grid with symbols in each square.
