An HP 60 ink cartridge is not printing color. The black cartridge is working. The cartridge is several months old and I had accidently taken the tape off months ago thinking it was the black cartridge so I put the cartridge in a sealed bag hoping it would work when I needed it. I was delighted when I inserted the cartrudge and it lit up as full. However, it is not printing anything in color. I reinserted the old color cartridge and printed a page with very little color and it printed the color part . So do you think the printer is working but the color cartrige not printing is dried up even thiough it lights up as full? I hate to spend money on a new color cartridge if it is the printer. I am puzzled as to why the printer is lighting up that the color cartridge is full

I found a video online that is great. It took care of a dried up HP60 color ink cartridge and saved me money as I can now use the cartridge I was about to throw away. Many others have left comments about this video and some even were ready to buy a new printer. I did use method one but also incorporated method 2 but instead of using a bowl of warm water held the specified part of the cartridge under very warm water after doing method one. WHAT A SURPRISE!!! I could now print my 2021 calendar that did have some color as well as other documents that have color.
You might also want to look at other videos on this link. I haven't tried any but this one was so good I would go back to this link for more printer help.
