Hello,
We are looking to purchase an HP 630 Latex Printer. This unit uses inks, at least one of which uses MEK (Metyl Ethyl Ketone). The installation guide recommends venting and references a study done that produced levels of volatiles below EPA-specified required levels in a room where the air turns over 5x per hour.
We are seeking assistance getting a copy of:
1) The ink ingredients used by this printer - the SDS documents are insufficient as I am told by my EHS team, and
2) The study (or other guidance) referenced in the setup guide for our air EPA permit as we venting to the outside, and all external vents need to a declaration of expected emissions.
We intend this printer to be running constantly, supporting millions of dollars in shipments to customers. Unfortunately, until the two items above are sufficiently addressed, we cannot purchase the unit and no other online avenues have been helpful. Hoping a good Samaritan with have some answers or can point us in a direction.
