HP officejet 6830
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the HP Officejet Pro 6830 printer.  Today it says the " black ink cartridge is missing or damaged" on the screen. This black ink cartridge has been in the printer for a little over 2 weeks and was working fine. The previous black cartridge was installed June 30th and lasted almost 5 months.  Workload hasn't increased any (maybe decreased actually) during this time. I did a reset and head cleaning procedure I found on these forums. Nothing changed.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ron

I didn't get any replies. I did get the error to go away for a few days by cleaning the print head, etc. But today (6 days later) it was telling me a had an almost full black cartridge then 5 minutes later it said it is "damaged or missing", Maybe i should try 3rd party cartridges since HP's seem to be going downhill.
