HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One Printer

I've researched and tried all of the suggestions that I could find.  I removed the power cord for several minutes multiple times.  I've printed at least a half dozen clean printhead reports.  I've printed the alignment report.  I physically cleaned the cartridges and cartridge area,  I installed new HP color cartridges.  I made sure that all updates were installed.  I uninstalled the printer from my laptop and reinstalled it.  Nothing has worked.  I am unable to print in color (yes, the color option is checked in the print dialogue box) and I am unable to copy in color.

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-In-One Printer not printing in color. I apologize for the Inconvenience.

 

I have a few recommendations 

 

Click this link for streaked or faded printouts, color or black ink not printing, documents with blurred or fuzzy text, ink streaks or smears, and other print quality problems. https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-6960-all-in-one-printer-series/8289579/model/1...

 

If issue still persists, then it could be an issue with faulty printhead. However the printhead is a fixed part in this printer and would lead to printer replacement.
