Greetings,
Just installed HP Envy Inspire 7255e., on windows 10 64 bit.
Ran set up, printed alignment page, successful.
Prints MS Word 2003 Fine on plain paper, any font I want.
Tried to print envelopes, text is blurry, regardless of font.
It's like the envelope goes too fast through the print tray.
As an experiment, I tried using plain paper, using the print envelope icon.
I did a search of some others who had this problem, suggesting it might be the paper.
Since this blurry print happens on both envelopes and plain paper, using the envelope icon, I'm kinda leaning on the direction of a software problem.
i did not have this problem on my much older HP printer 3880.
Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
Thank you in advance for your help
Norm

Found a solution for my printer.
I used an USB cable to connect the printer.
made sure it was on and connected.
After many more hours of searching, i tried the solution of a firmware update for my printer.
Search for support.hp.com/us-en/driver for your printer.
You will need the Pin # inside your printer.
tried the firmware update,
Nope. Said it was up to date.
Then downloaded the offline full/basic driver for your printer.
I did not un-install the the older software.
Skip log on to account.
BE SURE TO READ EACH DIALOG BOX, so as to not change privacy setting you may have chosen.
This finally fix the issue of blurry envelopes printing through MS Word.
Hope this works for you
Norm
PS
Users should not have to work this hard to get devices from billion dollar companies to work the first time.
Just sayin'

Normnospam - thank you so much for the advice! It took a bit of a different process, including a reboot, but it now prints just fine. What a cluster mess! Can't believe I had to go thru all this. It definitely should have worked out of the box.
