HP 7740 Print results A3 format color not good

Hello,

Can somebody help me with the following problem?

I have a officejet pro 7740 and when i want to print a A3 format in color the qulity is not good the lines are bad and almost no color. when I print the same file in A4 it's in color and good quality.

Also when i print the file in A3 black and white the quality is good.

I tryed several things like new drivers and also my computer reset windows.

There are a couple of likely places to add to your checkpoints:

• The Full Feature Software / full driver printer software is not installed (or not working)
• Printer Properties is set to use a Windows / Microsoft Print driver instead of the installed full driver printer software

NOTE:

If you already have the Full Feature Software installed,

The software is know to be in good working order,

If the settings are all correct,

The source of the problem might more likely be the driver selected in Printer Properties.

What?

Microsoft / Windows print drivers do not have access to all the features provided in the full software.

Less likely directly related - worth a check if all other options are correctly set and selected:

• Check Adjust the Tray and Paper Settings on the Printer Control Panel - or use EWS
• Select the Source in the software / application
• If not done >> Check / Update the printer firmware

Printer - Full Feature Software - Install

If you have not done so, consider

If the full driver printer software is (already) installed but not working,

• Uninstall any printer software from Control Panel > icon view > Programs and Features
• Restart the computer and sign in.

Next,

• Check (for the Printer) in Devices and Printers  > If found, Right-Click Printer and Remove -- If any changes are made, that is, you remove anything, Restart the computer and sign in.I

Next,

• If using a printer USB cable between the printer and the computer, disconnect the cable before installing the printer software.

• Download and Save the Full Feature Software installation package or the Easy Start Software

Installation

• Open File Explorer
• Navigate to the folder in which you saved the installation file  (likely Downloads)
• Right-Click on the installation package and “Run as Administrator”
• If using a printer USB cable between the printer and the computer, connect the cable when instructed (near the end of the installation).
• After the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in

Printer - Printer Properties -

Make sure the printer and the full driver are selected in Printer Properties.

What?  Microsoft print drivers do not support all the same options as does the full driver software.
