Hi @st95,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP 7800 printer is producing orange-colored photos, there are several things you can try to resolve the issue.
- Check the ink levels: Make sure that the ink cartridges are not low or empty. If they are, replace them with new cartridges and try printing again.
- Check the paper settings: Ensure that the paper type selected in the printer settings matches the type of paper you are using. Using the wrong paper type can result in incorrect colors.
- Calibrate your printer: Many printers have a calibration or alignment function that can help correct color issues. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to calibrate your particular model.
- Check the color settings: Make sure that the printer settings are set to print in color, and that the color settings are not set to "grayscale" or "black and white."
- Clean the print heads: Over time, print heads can become clogged with dried ink, resulting in incorrect colors. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to clean the print heads.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
