Hello, I have an OfficeJet Pro 8025 that is not printing in color. I have checked my settings to ensure color is chosen , and I ran printer maintenance options. I have also removed the cartridges to checked for dryness and cleaned the printhead. I’m at a loss of what else it could be other than maybe a hardware issue???

Hi @DyerC85,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your facing a print quality issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025
I could see that you've already checked your settings, performed maintenance, and ensured that the cartridges are not dry, there are a few additional troubleshooting steps you can try before concluding it's a hardware issue:
- Check Ink Levels: Ensure that your color ink cartridges have sufficient ink levels. Sometimes, even if they're not dry, they might be low on ink, which can prevent proper color printing.
- Software Update: Make sure your printer's firmware and drivers are up-to-date. Sometimes, outdated software can cause printing issues.
- Print Quality Diagnostic: Most printers, including the OfficeJet Pro 8025, have a diagnostic or print quality report option in the settings menu. Print a diagnostic page to check if all colors are printing properly. This can help identify if the issue lies with a specific color or the entire color printing mechanism.
- Printhead Alignment: Check if the printhead alignment needs adjustment. Many printers have an option to align the printhead through the settings menu. Running this alignment process might help resolve color printing issues.
- Try Different Applications: Sometimes, printing issues can be application-specific. Try printing from different applications or file types to see if the problem persists across all platforms.
- Factory Reset: As a last resort before considering hardware issues, you might try a factory reset of the printer. This will reset all settings to their defaults and might help clear any software glitches causing the color printing problem.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
