I have had this photosmart 8200 Series Printer for some years and it is excellent. This week the colours stopped printing properly. I used the menu to clean the printer heads , including the second stage process and then ran a test page. All the colours are good now, except for the magenta which shows stripes on the test page. I changed the cartridge for a new one and then I again ran the clean printer heads twice but it is still not printing correctly for this colour. Any ideas what I could try next to save this lovely printer??

If you have already performed the steps from the document Print Quality (page no 53) and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
