HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer

When I installed a new HP 952xl cartridge, I got the following message " There is a problem with the Supply System."  I purchased another new HP 952xl cartridge and got the same message.  Is anyone able to tell me what the problem is here.  Does the printer head need to be replaced?

Yes, since the print head has never been changed, it must be replaced.
