Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I replaced my ink cartridges with non-HP Brand cartridges and now it says it won't print because I'm not using HP Brand Cartridges.  the Cartridge Protection switch was already turned off so that's not the solution.    Is there nothing I can do to get it to accept accept a non-HP Cartridge?   I cancelled my HP Ink subscription and it wouldn't let me finish out the cartridges I had,.  Now it won't accept new Cartridges.  I'm ready to drop HP altogether and just buy a new NON-HP printer   This is ridiculous.

It is hard to answer without knowing what printer you have. Some models are sold at a discount with a clear disclaimer that you must use HP cartridges. If that is they type of printer you have, there is nothing you can do to use 3rd party cartridges. Some printers may work if you can install an older version of the firmware for the device.
