OMG!  This is a nightmare!  How do you get the printer carriage to move to the center in the HP 9010 so you can change the cartridges and continue printing?  I have reset the printer multiple times, keep pushing the change cartridge button since it keeps telling me I have to change one of the cartridges, but it will not move the carriage so I can change them!  This is the worst technology EVER!  Any ideas?  Since HP does not know how to provide 24/7 customer support, either!

Open cartridge access door, turn the printer ON, when the ink cartridges will move to the middle unplug the power cord, which will make the printer stop. You can now remove the cartridge, turn the printer back ON and it will ask for a new cartridge then proceed normally.

Hi,

I have the same problem, but unfortunately the ink cartridges do not move to the center (anymore). No matter what I do, unplug it, switch it off etc.

Any other solution?

Hi,

Do you open both the front and top doors to replace the cartridge, as shown by below video?

If any other behavior occur, please clarify what exact behavior occurs, and what exact message is shown on the printer screen once you open the doors.
