My brand new HP 9025 won't print black ink properly. Prints streaky lines, skip lines altogether, a mess! Tried everything prescribed, cleaning print-head several times, installing new black ink cartridge, alignment, etc. Looks like I need a new print-head but cannot order this part from HP? Called HP support and they claim they don't have the print-head in stock? For a brand new HP 9025 printer, the flagship inkjet printer! Outrageous! I also have the HP Care Pack service that is supposed to provide a replacement printer overnight. HP claims they don't have a replacement 9025 to send me? I'm absolutely fed up with HP. A brand new printer that I can't use and they can't/won't fix.

 

Can anyone HELP!

I’ve contacted HP support everyday for the last week to no avail. They have no parts, no replacement computers and frankly, no empathy. Disgusting!

I had a similar, but worse problem.  The printhead reported in as missing.  I tried to get a replacement -- no luck.  Then, I tried to buy one -- also no luck.  HP parts store didn't have it, and no one else had one for sale.  Finally, I bought a second printer.  It worked fine.  then, I returned the defective printer for credit.

 

Really lousy service -- the printhead should be available as a part.  Hard to understand.  No HP human available.

The printhead on this model printer is removable and yes it can be replaced. The availability of the part has to be checked on HP Parts store. If not available, it could be out of stock and you may have to wait for it to be in stock again.
