HP 910XL black ink cartridge won't print.

I cannot print on my HP 8025 printer since the HP 910XL black ink cartridge won't print.  The error message I get says that the cartridge has been blocked because it contains a non-HP chip.  Are 910XL black ink cartridges compatible with an HP 8025 printer?

HP 910XL black ink cartridges are not compatible with the HP 8025 printer. The HP 8025 printer is designed to use HP 910 standard black ink cartridges. Using cartridges with non-HP chips or incompatible cartridges can cause errors and issues with printing, as you're experiencing.

To resolve the issue, you should replace the non-compatible cartridge with the appropriate HP 910 black ink cartridge for your HP 8025 printer. This should resolve the error message and allow you to resume printing without any issues.

Great but I wish I would have known this before I  bought the set of 910XL cartridges including the incompatible black ink 910XL cartridge.  Why would they sell 910XL cartridges as replacements for an HP 8025 printers when the black ink cartridges are not compatible with HP 8025 printers?  I do not have the receipt for my purchase of the 910XL cartridge set so presumably I will have to buy a new 910 black ink cartridge--is that correct?
