Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought an HP 951XL tri-color ink cartridge and the WARRANTY DATE on it is May 2021. I don't see any other dates such as an Expiration Date. What exactly is the warranty date and is it OK to use a cartridge with a passed warranty date?

The warranty date is the date when the warranty expires on that cartridge. After that date you will not be able to claim an expired cartridge for a warranty replacement ( if needed). Depending on the storage environment before being used an inkjet cartridge can be used just fine even after the warranty end date depending on a printer model.

Your warranty ended 6 months ago it's still fine for use, but HP recommended using fresh ink cartridges for best print quality.
