HP ENVY 6032 All-In-One Printer

Wasn't printing enough pages to make Ink Enrollment viable, so cancelled and bought ink cartridge instead.

However, can't print Alignment page from HP Smart App unless I'm enrolled in Ink program.

Anyone got a workaround?

Hi @JayMac66

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand you're unable to print an alignment page after canceling HP Instant Ink enrollment, and the HP App appears to be prompting for enrollment before allowing the alignment process.

To better understand the situation and provide the most appropriate guidance, could you please share a few details?

  • Which HP printer model are you using?
  • What cartridge is currently installed in the printer:
    • A regular HP ink cartridge purchased from a retailer, or
    • An HP Instant Ink cartridge that was supplied through the Instant Ink program?
  • Did you recently replace the cartridge, or is this the same cartridge that was already installed when the enrollment was cancelled?
  • Are you seeing any specific message or error in the HP App when attempting to print the alignment page?

A screenshot of the message in the HP App would also be helpful if available. This will help us determine whether the alignment restriction is related to the cartridge type, enrollment status, or the HP App workflow.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye

Hi @Hawks_eye

I'm using a 6000 series, installed with HP authorised ink bought post Ink cancellation.

I've not had issues until recently when all printing appears slightly grey & out of focus, despite less than 20 pages being printed since ink cancellation.

No errors, just HP Smart refusing to print unless I resign up to ink.
