Hello,
I have an HP C4599 Photosmart printer.
I recently changed the printer cartridges and now I get "Print cartridge incorrectly installed" message after replacing both color and black cartridges with HP Ink cartridge 74 and 75. This is the first time I have received this message.
I removed all printer cartridges and replaced again, closed all doors, etc. Same error.
I tried the following which did not correct the issue.

I also tried unplugging the printer and plugins it back it - which did not resolve the issue.
Any help would be appreciated.

I understand you are not able to print due to this error.
Insert one ink cartridge at a time and try printing to identify the defective ink cartridge.
Do you have an alternate ink cartridge to check if that works?
Make sure the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges
Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Ink cartridge error
If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options.
You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
