HP Recommended

I have some non-HP toner cartridges that my printer (now out of warrantee) will not recognise. I believe I need to disable cartridge protection or some similar feature, but I can not find specific instructions for this particular printer. None of the generic instructions I have found seem to work. The printer is connected to WiFi and I can send documents to it via my laptop, but accessing the IP via a browser simply redirects to a generic page with no access to my printer settings. It does not allow me to log in with my HP ID on this page either.

Can anybody direct me towards clear instructions?
