HP DeskJet 3772 All-in-One Printer

I bought this printer in December around Christmas time. Set it up did a test print and a couple of other jobs with the cartridges that came with it. I shut it all down as we were rearranging a trying to get an office area set up. It has not been used since then. When I started it up today to try and print it said the cartridges weren't communicating. So since I had the brand new ones from instant ink I put those in. I still get the cartridges aren't communicating. I have following the instructions to clean the heads in the printer and on the cartridges. Waited an hour to be safe that they were dry put them back in and still have the same message. I've even reset the printer. I'm not sure what else I can do at this point. Nothing seems to be working.

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your computer.

Click here to learn different methods of updating the printer firmware.

 

Also, perform step 3 from this document.

I have done all these things. Even replaced the cartridges that came from instaink with ones bought from the store. It's still not working.
