HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3835 All-in-One Printer

Hi,

I purchase my HP deskjet ink advantage 3835 in Saudi Arabia and was using 652 ink advantage cartridges, now I have been moved to the US, and i am unable to find 652 cartridges. Upon searching community resources, i found out that i need to do regional reset using HP smart or Hp utility tool. I have both tools installed but i am unable to open regional reset window using cmnd+space and right click. If any one can further guide and also share which suitable cartridge will be used for this series in the US?

@mudasser158, Welcome to HP Support Community!  

  

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.  

  

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.  

  

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hi Garp,

After the regional reset, I have purchased ink from hp, its 63, but it didnt work and printer started showing incompatible ink catridge. I am not sure if the 63 is the right ink type. can you please help in identifying right ink type for HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3835 All-in-One Printer in the US?

Hi Garp,

It seems like there is no ink compatible version for this printer that exists in the US. Although i have checked 664 exists in the US to be purchased from Latin America. can you please help me perform another regiona reset to Latin America?

Since a region reset is a Critical process with limited attempts, I strongly recommend reaching out to our phone or chat support team directly.

 

They can provide one-on-one assistance — and in many cases, use remote tools to resolve the issue more effectively.

Thank you for replying, actually printer is out of warranty and there is no option for me to contact HP support here in the US. I have tried finding support phone number but it doest let me reach as device is out of warranty.
