HP DeskJet 2710 All-in-One Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

I have been trying to print a full A4 page from my MacBook to my HP DeskJet 2710 printer but the printer cuts off the bottom. Approx 1.2cm is cut off. I understand that the printer has its own margins which are 3mm from top, right and left and 12.7mm from bottom. The print area is 215mm x 355mm which is larger than an A4. How can I adjust these margins so that the bottom doesn't get cut off?

I've searched everywhere and there seems to be no found solution.

I've already done the following to troubleshoot:

  • added and removed printer
  • firmware/driver update
  • print from another device
  • switched printer off and on
  • tried different paper sizes
  • created custom page sizes with 0mm margins

However, the problem still persists.

The printer is able to copy using the scanner and print without the large bottom margin. So I don't understand why I can't print from my computer using the same margins all the way around.

So my question is, how do I adjust my printers default margins?

I would appreciate a prompt solution because I need to be able to print as part of my small business.

Thank you.

The bottom 12,7 mm is always cut, no matter what is the paper size, it's impossible on that printer model to print under that margin.
