Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

HP Deskjet 1220c will print black and white totally  fine but when printing colour from all applications on a Mac012.0 Monterey colour prints in greyscale.

Hi,

Please make sure your macOS is fully up to date by installing any update for your macOS:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201541

 

Next, uninstall any existing HP Software by following the HP Uninstaller Utility below:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/HP_Uninstaller...

 

Next, download and install the latest drivers below:

https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1888?locale=en_US

 

Finally,  open System Preferences, and then open Printers & Scanners to re-add your printer. be sure to select the printer model within the Use drop-down menu.

Hi Sholmi, 

Thank you so much for this. 

I have followed all the step suggested but when I get to:

 

Finally,  open System Preferences, and then open Printers & Scanners to re-add your printer. be sure to select the printer model within the Use drop-down menu.

 

There are no printers in the drop down menu?
