HP DESKJET 2723e no matter what I do this is how it prints anything with brand new ink cartridges. I've cleaned, aligned all of it in the quality tools even when I print a photo on phototherapy paper it's faded with red streaks. Any help would be appreciated! Using HP smart App with android 11 OS phone.

Hi @Danny52186,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're dealing with print quality issues on your HP DeskJet 2723e. Here are some steps you can try to improve the print quality:
Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the ink cartridges are not low or empty. Even if they're new, they might be defective.
Print Head Cleaning: You've mentioned cleaning, but it might be worth running the print head cleaning cycle again. Sometimes multiple cleanings are needed.
- Go to the HP Smart app.
- Select your printer, then go to Printer Settings.
- Find Clean Printhead or a similar option and run it.
Print Quality Diagnostic: Run a print quality diagnostic test to check for issues with the printhead.
- In the HP Smart app, go to Printer Maintenance or Tools.
- Look for Print Quality Report and follow the instructions to print it.
Alignment: Perform a printhead alignment to ensure the cartridges are correctly aligned.
- In the HP Smart app, go to Printer Maintenance or Tools.
- Select Align Printhead and follow the instructions.
Check Paper Type: Ensure that you're using the correct type of paper for your print job. For photos, use photo paper, and make sure the paper is compatible with your printer.
Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer and install them if necessary.
- Go to the HP Smart app, select your printer, and look for firmware update options. Update the firmware on an HP printer
Reset Printer: As a last resort, you can try resetting the printer to factory settings.
- Turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Wait for 60 seconds, then reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.
