I cannot print or copy in color.  I've checked ink levels. I've checked print heads. Everything seems OK except it isn't. I've wondered about re-installing the printer. I don't think it has worked properly since I upgraded to Windows 10. Is there a quick fix out there?

I have similar problem, my 3830 would copy in color but would only print from computer in monochrome. Something was changing or locking my preferences. I reinstalled software many times but did not solve the problem.  I finally got it to print color using HP SMart. Virtual help just had me going in circles.

I have tried HP Smart. I can print test pages in color, the Print Quality Diagnostic sheet is in color. It's when I print from PDF, for example, that it is in black only. I think maybe I shall try re-installing the printer?

I have removed and re-installed the printer. It now works OK. That's a standard Tech. fix;  delete / switch off and then try again.
