Ok so this printer, the 4155 series is a total scam of a printer. The ink (67 series) dries up within the matter of days if I leave it in the printer. I try to put the ink cartridges immediately into a ziploc bag, suck the air out and seal it for the next print job. Even then, most the times it still does not work. And it mysteriously will lose a large portion of ink when it sits. I have pulled fresh cartridges out, still full, put in ziploc bag, then put back in for the next print job a month later and have them ready between 75%-50%. Wth? I have to keep putting the cartridges in warm water to clean them out, which in turn drains most the ink out. Out of each cartridge set i have purchased, 5 now, I have maybe printed an average of 100 documents in total or less. It has failed multiple times before important meetings and interviews. I am beyond frustrated with this printer and I regret buying it and wish I could be compensated for this piece of junk. I have no idea how it has so much good reviews on amazon, maybe HP is paying off bots for the reviews.. I live in California so I cant imagine the weather has anything to do with it drying up so fast.
Since I have now wasted hundreds of dollars, I would like to know if there is a better printer that does not have ink that dries up so fast, even after extended periods of inactivity (1-6 months). A printer that has self cleaning and wireless? Any recommendations, thanks.
