Printer will not print even though both color and black ink levels are sufficient. I've cleaning, aligning the cartridge as well as cleaning for page smears. I've unplugged the printer and my software is up to date. While the printer is about 5 years old it's been used maybe a dozen times. I do not want to wast money on buying new cartridges if it is a printer issue. I've tried going through troubleshooting with the Virtual Assistant and with the warranty expired I'm not sure where to turn for help as there is no physical phone number for customer service. Any suggestions?

Thanks for responding. I went through all the trouble shooting steps in the links. Nothing worked. As I mentioned. The printer shows there is enough ink in the cartridges but when I try to print something, nothing prints, just a blank sheet of paper. Same goes for when I print the test/cleaning cartridge pages. I would like to be able to diagnose the problem before wasting money on buying new cartridges only to find out it's a printer issue.
