Product: HP ENVY 6000 series PCL-3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP ENVY 6000 series PCL-3 wifi connection is unnecessary for my needs, and is very unreliable. I also MUST switch off my laptop and printer when not in use. So can I connect the printer to my laptop with a USB cable and not use HP Smart which only works for PDF files? Happy to do without ink supply offers and order them when needed.
