I bought this printer less than a year ago I’ve had it in the same place for the entire time I’ve used only HP cartridges and quality paper for some reason the printer will not print magenta. I’ve done all of the tests (wasting more ink) through the HP smart app and all of them will not print magenta the tri-colored cartridge is not out and still has a supply level what the heck is going on? Super disappointing for an HP printer that’s still considered NEW to be experiencing these issues. I had my last HP for over 3+ years, if this printer can’t make it to a year with minimum use then I do not suggest buying an HP Printer.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Ink cartridge errors and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the replacement options for your cartridge.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
