Hello everyone,

I’m a long-time HP printer user and currently experiencing a very frustrating issue that has remained unresolved for several months.

I am subscribed to the HP Instant Ink program, but my printers are no longer recognizing the original HP cartridges provided through the subscription.

My setup:

  • Two identical printers: HP ENVY 6055e
  • Active Instant Ink subscription

The issue:
The printers do not recognize the cartridges as compatible. This happens consistently across both devices.

What I’ve already done:

  • Contacted HP support multiple times
  • Opened several cases (including):
    • CRM0060430019296
    • 0108810001026
    • 0090735025292
  • Was promised replacement cartridges (initially not shipped, later received after follow-up)
  • Tested cartridges in:
    • Existing printer
    • Brand new HP ENVY 6055e (fresh out of the box)

Result:
Same issue in all cases — cartridges are not recognized.

At this point, it’s clear this is not a hardware problem, but something related to compatibility, firmware, or the Instant Ink system.

Impact:
I have been unable to print for several months despite paying for the subscription.

We did all the procedures recommended by the HP. I'm a subscriber and can't print for a few months for now. 

This situation is extremely frustrating, and I would appreciate any guidance or resolution.
