Hi there I have just bought a Envy 6000e series 

I am using on a Mac mini I have followed the instructions on set up but it will not print colour . 

I have tried to follow other post to rectify the issue but I cannot understand what I have to do or find the right areas I need to change can you please help me. I need my printer for work!!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

 

I see that you are facing an issue with printing in color on your Printer.

Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain.

 

1) Take out the cartridges

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges

 

Kindly refer to the steps on this link to troubleshoot and let me know if that resolves the issue.

 

Also, update the printer firmware using this link.

Hello, I have followed your instructions but it still has not worked. I can print colour from the HP smart app but not directly using a word document. The smart app does not allow me to select certain pages, something I need to do. 

I have ensured that firmware is up to date. 

I have looked at the solutions on your website. I bought a HP printer as my last one was brilliant but would not take photo paper. 

I am very disappointed that such a simple thing will not work.

Can you help me please?
