I have a new printer (ENVY Inspire 7200). It is printing horizontal black streaks instead of the required output. When I print the Print Quality Diagnostic report it comes out perfectly. But when I print anything else, even the Test Page it prints the horizontal black streaks. How can I fix this?

To assist better:
- Are you using genuine HP ink cartridges?
- Does the copy print out the same way?
- What's the application you are trying to print from?
- Have you tried printing from a different application or device?
While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.
You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable to your printer - Print Quality Issues
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Thanks for the reply. The printer is practically new but I checked for updates and there weren’t any. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. And I also did a smear clean. I printed a test page and it printed cleanly without the ink streaks. So it all seems fine now. Thank you again.
