When printing any type/format of document, printer just spits out blank pages.  I have performed ALL of the steps on the HP diagnostics page.   I attempted to use the HP Smart app to diagnose the problem but the "virtual assistant" basically just walks you through the same steps as listed on the diagnostics page.  And yes, I am using HP print cartridges.

I have now had THREE  (3) HP inkjet printers (all different models) fail on me within the past year. One with a paper feed issue, one which just refuses to print and this printer which just feeds blank pages. I refuse to purchase another HP printer. Junk. HP is more concerned with selling ink subscription services than with designing and manufacturing a quality product.

If the printer was unused for a longer period ink gets dried and you need to replace the ink cartridges.

Valsimot,   I appreciate your reply and proposed solution.  However, I am not willing to risk another $90 on ink cartridges to test whether it is the ink cartridges or the printer.  I have been purchasing HP printers for over 25 years.  I have spent thousands of dollars between my personal printers and those used at work.   The printer lifecycle continues to get shorter and shorter and the price of ink cartridges continue to increase. I am not sure I am willing to spend any more money resolving HP printer issues.
