I need to change the region setting of my printer from the UK to India. Here is everything that I have tried.

1) Called UK HP Support - was directed to call India HP support

2) Could not find any India HP support number. So took to the HP Support website, Twitter and Facebook Support for help

3) Everytime I was asked to raise a web case. Not sure what that is. But when i follow their standard instructions to raise a web case, i always get directed here to this community forum or to the virtual agent. The virtual agent was unable to help me. There is absolutely no India HP Support number anywhere.

4) Some helpful guy on facebook support showed me instructions to reach the Region Setting Page. But it asks for reset codes which I need a person at HP Support to give me. So back to square one.

5) Some lady on UK HP Support gave me a number to try for India HP Support but it wasn't an active number.

So here I am. In a desperate last ditch attempt to get my printer working. I am stuck without a printer now for over 3 weeks. This is my last attempt to get any sort of meaningful customer service before HP loses me as a customer forever.

Hi @Murtaza4,

I'd like to help!

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
