Help! My HP Envy 4520 printer is now stuck on the following error message:
"Remove and reinstall the following ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly reinstalled..."
After removing/reinstalling the ink cartridge, and consulting the forums, I have tried the following steps, but the printer is *still* stuck!
1) remove and reinstall original ink cartridges
2) replace the ink cartridge
3) clean contacts on the printer
4) reset the printer (disconnect from the power supply) and then re-clean the contacts
5) check for firmware update
At this point, my printer still refuses to print anything at all (even in B&W - it indicates that the color ink cartridge is the problem.
Does anyone have other suggestions? Is it worth trying to get this printer "repaired"? Or should I just scrap it and go shopping for a new printer?
