Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Please help me roll back my firmware.  It was set (so annoyed I let this happen) to auto-update firmware - suddenly it says "ink cartridge problem"  "remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge".

 

I am sure this is due to HP not allowing it to let me use aftermarket ink or remanufactured cartridges.

 

I refill my own and it always works- until suddenly this error - nothting else changed.

 

Please help me roll back my firmware on MY F'ING PRINTER so I can use it with whatever inks I like - as I've been doing for years.

sorry I AM ANGRY as I discover HP updates printers to lock the owners out of using the ink they choose.

I have the same problem and I am using HP cartridges from instant ink.  The problem Started with the firmware update.
