I am trying to print on Letter sized photo paper (non HP) with my HP Envy 6055e and the printer is not scaling correctly. I set the photo to be scaled to 100% of the LETTER SIZED paper and the print output is blown up and cut off. I have done this printing with Windows Photo, Chrome Browser, and Photoshop. All software exhibits the same issue: the print is over-scaled and the image is cut off.
When I print the SAME EXACT print job on plain paper, the scale is correct. Somehow this printer is detecting the paper type and messing up the scaling only on photo paper. How is this possible? Please advise!

Hi @MatiasNino,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
I understand you are facing scale issues.
The printer does not support 8.5x11 photo paper, refer to the specifications to know the supported paper type and size.

The specs say 8.5x11 media size. I just bought HP Premium photo paper that is 8.5x11. You mean to tell me I just wasted my money because this printer only? HP doesn't even appear to sell 8x10 photo paper. Please advise.

The printer does not support the size of photo paper you are trying to print.
But you could try the custom printing option, and check if that helps.
