My HP Envy 6055e prints blank pages. I know it is an older model but it is still in good condition, hasn’t been worn out, WiFi is connected, Ink cartridges are in, and I even made sure to clean out the paper tray as recommended.

Hi @RP146,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding blank page printing on the HP Envy 6055e!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check Ink Cartridges:
- Ensure that both the black and color ink cartridges have sufficient ink. Even if one cartridge seems fine, a depleted cartridge can lead to blank pages.
- Inspect the ink cartridge contacts to ensure they are clean and properly seated in their slots.
Perform Printhead Cleaning:
- Use the printer's cleaning utility to clean the printheads. This can clear any blockages that could be causing printing issues.
- On the printer, use the touch screen menu to navigate to settings or maintenance options and choose 'Clean Printhead'.
Printhead Alignment:
- Align the printhead to ensure it is positioned correctly. This can sometimes resolve issues with blank prints.
- Use the printer menu to navigate to 'Settings' > 'Printer Maintenance' > 'Align Printhead'.
Check Paper Settings:
- Make sure the paper size setting matches the actual paper loaded in the tray. Incorrect paper settings can sometimes cause communication issues.
Firmware Update:
- Verify if your printer's firmware is up to date. An outdated firmware can affect printing functionality.
- Update firmware through HP Smart app or the printer control panel.
Try a Hard Reset:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on. A hard reset can resolve many software-related issues.
I hope this helps.
