Product: HP ENVY Photo 7858 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
The black ink cartridge (64xl) on my HP 7858 printer was about half full but I suddenly got an error message stating that “the indicated cartridges are not communicating with the printer. If the problem persists, replace the cartridges".
I tried all the recommendations I could find, including - disconnecting power, factory reset, plugging directly into a wall socket (no powerstrip) and cleaning the contacts on both the printer and cartridge.
I also purchased a brand new HP 64xl cartridge and tried all the above steps again.
Is there anything else I can try? This seems like a software issue. HP PLEASE HELP ME!
