Hello.
I recently ordered a new ink cartridge, both color and black, for my HP Envy Photo 7855 printer after my old ones ran out of ink. I put the color cartirdge in its slot and it works fine, but when I put in the black ink cartridge, it creates the "remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge" issue people keep talking about. I just got this cartridge today. This is ridiculous.
I'm reposting this issue just for my sake. I had no problems with the ink cartridges for this printer before today. I don't know why this is happening now. I unplugged the printer and replugged it in, nothing happened. I tried cleaning the contacts of the cartridge with a small cotton swab with distilled water and nothing happened.
Are there any other solutions to this problem? I need it for work because I'm working remotely now.

@UnderdogAnomaly, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I see that the new black ink cartridge is not working.
Check if the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges
Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Ink cartridge error
Insert the old ink cartridge and check for the error. If no error, then the new one is defective
If the error persists with 2 different ink cartridges, it could be an issue with the printer.
