I moved from LATAM to EUROPE and brought my printer (HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2700) with me...this printer use 667 ink So I've been searching this ink here without success. Looks like ink available are # 67 # 67XL # 305 BUT NOT 667 I bought ink 305 in Amazon but didn't work <showed ERROR (E0)>...So PLEASE can you confirm if ink 667 can be replaced with other one on this region (Europe)? OR just throw my printer in the trash??

Hi @GG3333333,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're having a frustrating issue with finding the right printer ink after moving continents. The compatibility of ink cartridges can indeed vary by region due to different model numbers and specifications. For your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2700, which uses the 667 ink cartridge in Latin America, the equivalent cartridge in Europe is usually the 305 or 305XL. However, since you've tried the 305 and encountered an error, it's likely not compatible in this instance. This error could be due to regional firmware differences in the printer that prevent it from accepting cartridges from different regions.

If you move to a different country we need to perform a regional reset in order to make the printer work in the new region. I will surely help you with the Regional reset.

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to.

4. Make sure HP Smart App is installed too.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
