HP Ink Tank Wireless 419 is not using Yellow GT52 for printing which results in disoriented colored printing. I have checked the ink levels are sufficient. Also i took the cartridge out and checked the color lines in which yellow is missing.

Hi @luv30,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Ink Tank Wireless 419 is not printing yellow despite sufficient ink levels, and you've already confirmed that yellow ink is missing in the color lines, here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow:

1. Check for Air Bubbles in the Ink Lines

  • Sometimes air bubbles can form in the ink lines, preventing ink from flowing properly. Try performing a few printhead cleaning cycles from the printer’s maintenance menu.
  • Go to Printer Maintenance on the printer's control panel or through the HP Smart app and select Clean Printhead. You may need to run this a few times to see any improvement.

2. Inspect the Printhead

  • Remove the printhead and inspect it for any clogs or dried ink, particularly around the yellow nozzle.
  • Clean the printhead gently with a lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water or a specific printhead cleaning solution. Be sure to follow the manual instructions for this process to avoid damaging the printhead.

3. Reinsert the Yellow Ink Cartridge

  • Remove the yellow ink cartridge and inspect it for any blockages or damage. Ensure the cartridge is properly seated in its slot.
  • After reseating, try printing again to see if the issue is resolved.

4. Run a Diagnostic Print

  • Most HP printers have a diagnostic tool that can check the status of the printhead and the ink cartridges. Running a Printer Status Report or Print Quality Diagnostic Page can help identify issues.

5. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your HP Ink Tank Wireless 419. Outdated or corrupted drivers can sometimes cause printing issues. You can download the latest drivers from the HP support website.

6. Perform a Factory Reset

  • If the problem persists, you might consider resetting the printer to its factory settings. This can sometimes resolve issues caused by software or configuration problems. Be aware that this will erase any custom settings, so you'll need to set them up again afterward.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
