I am currently trying to print using the HP ink that came with my printer. Despite having run all the cartridge cleans suggested, leaving the ink to dry for over 24 hrs and also using different kinds of paper to print, and different highlighters, I have found every time I try to highlight any text it smudges? I’m disappointed in the quality of the print as I primarily use my printer to print out notes to be highlighted and therefore I’m unable to use it for the main reason I purchased it.
HP Recommended
InkJet ink can smear when highlighted.
Consider using a “gel” type highlighter.
