This printer was a gift that came with a free subscription to the HP Instant Ink program. I extended the program for a few months after the free trial was over but canceled last month when I realized what a “racket” it was. My new ink cartridges purchased on Amazon worked fine for about a month and then just stopped. Now the error says I need to replace them with the MUCH more expensive HP cartridges.
