Hi @hsgrocery,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it for 5 minutes.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
Check the Toner Cartridge & Drum
- Since you changed the toner already, remove the cartridge and check the drum unit.
- If the drum has toner residue all over it, clean it gently with a lint-free cloth.
- Make sure the toner cartridge is seated correctly before reinserting it.
Check the Transfer Roller (Inside the Printer)
- Open the printer and look for the transfer roller (a soft black rubber roller under the toner).
- If it’s coated in toner or dirty, gently clean it with a dry cloth.
- Do NOT touch it with your fingers, as oils can damage it.
Perform a Printer Self-Test
- Press and hold the Cancel button (red exclamation mark) for 5 seconds.
- If the printer still prints a solid black page, there might be a hardware issue.
Update Printer Firmware
- Download the latest firmware update from HP’s official website.
- Install it and restart the printer.
Factory Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer.
- Hold the Wireless + Cancel buttons, then turn it on.
- Keep holding until the power button starts blinking.
- The printer will reset and restart.
Let me know how it goes.
